CIDA's International Youth Internship Program

Since 1997, SOCODEVI has been proud to be part of CIDA’s International Youth Internship Program by hiring and supervising young professionals each year.

We believe that this program is mutually beneficial. Young graduates bring their knowledge to SOCODEVI projects and partners, and in return they benefit greatly from a valuable international work experience.

Foundation golf tournament: a resounding success!

Organized by the Foundation in partnership with AGROPUR, this initiative was very well received by our member institutions, creating a movement of solidarity unparalleled in the history of our organization. Thanks to this activity, the SOCODEVI Foundation was able to raise nearly $16,000 that will help consolidate cooperative, mutualist and associative organizations in Latin America, Africa and Asia.

SOCODEVI hosts a delegation from Paraguay

A General Meeting With a Dairy Flavour. SOCODEVI’s 22nd Annual General Meeting was marked by the presence of an impressive delegation from Paraguay including dairy cooperative leaders and the Deputy Minister for Agriculture from this South American country. At the annual meeting, held June 8 in Quebec City, some 180 participants benefited from an in-depth presentation of SOCODEVI endeavours in Paraguay.

Socodevi Wins the Canadian International Cooperation Award

Our efforts to improve the living conditions of Bolivian agricultural producers have been recognized by Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME) and the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). SOCODEVI received the Canadian International Cooperation Award for Excellence in Capacity Building of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises.
