The Make Development Last Contest

A unique opportunity

As part of its 25th anniversary celebrations, SOCODEVI is extending an invitation to the administrators, employees and members of its network of cooperatives and mutuals to take part in its sixth Make Development Last contest.

The three winners of the contest will participate in an awareness mission to Senegal next fall. The ten-day trip will allow them to learn more about what is at stake in SOCODEVI projects underway in Senegal and give them an opportunity to discover a new culture.

As an environmental measure, entering the contest can be done only on the SOCODEVI website. There are three easy steps to the contest:

  3. Click on Send and that’s all there is to it!

Contest rules

  1. Be 18 or older
  2. Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada.
  3. Be an administrator, employee or member of a cooperative or mutual that is a member of the SOCODEVI network. The full list of SOCODEVI member institutions is available here.
  4. Contest closes on May 24, 2010 at 4 PM.
  5. A draw will be held on June 4, 2010 during the Grand Rendez-vous for the SOCODEVI 25th anniversary to select three winners, each from a different organization.
  6. SOCODEVI will cover all costs of the awareness trip to Senegal with the exception of personal expenses.
  7. 7. Winners unable to take part in the trip to Senegal may not claim an equivalent monetary value of the trip.
