Our mission
Through the involvement of its member institutions and through promotion of the cooperative and mutual movement and other forms of association, SOCODEVI contributes to sustainable development in partner countries with a view to empowering their inhabitants.
We measure our success by the extent to which the enterprises we support become models for their sustainability and the benefits their activities provide. Our ultimate goal: improved living conditions for the communities that we support.

Our policies
Policy of equality between women and men
- Integrate, at every planning and development phase of our projects, an analysis of the relationships between women and men, and introduce measures to contribute to the reduction of inequalities;
- Support and contribute to the implementation of activities created by and for women, in order for them to acquire skills and to access the resources they need to empower themselves;
- Instigate and support initiatives aimed at reducing unequal relations between men and women, through capacity building and implementation of appropriate participatory mechanisms for our partners.
